First of all, I wonder, is the public toilet scribbling is a word wide phenomena? Here if you go to the one in badly maintain area/building, you can get free reading material while doing your business haha! I do read them as much as I able to :p

Have you ever given a second thought to a homeless person? I often do that when I’m not in a hurry

Note: Beggars and homeless are two different things. I am indifferent to beggars because over here it ca be a lucrative “business”. Malaysians are generous people and beggars (who are mostly foreigners) could earn an average of RM200-300 (US$60-80) per day – that’s what an undercover journalist earned on a “begging assignment”. That’s like 10 times what a McDonald’s crew get a day!

Dirty Little Scoundrels

If I open a poll and ask whether you like to be around clean or littered area, I’m very sure the result would be 100% clean area. (I mean what kind of sick person enjoys walking among trash?) Yet those same people would have no qualms about throwing their rubbish anywhere they like.

This is especially true in Malaysia. As much as I love my country, I can’t stand some of the people’s attitude. If I walk by the street in the city, I would see at least one person throwing something (like paper or empty cigarette box) as if it’s something natural to do. And it doesn’t only happen on dirty streets, but also on pristine ones.
